“'Until one has loved an animal, a part of one's soul remains unawakened.' Animals have always been part of my life and as a native San Diegan, I have watched and experienced first hand what the Helen Woodward Animal Center does on a daily basis to save, rehabilitate and provide love and support to animals of all kinds."​​​​​​​​
